Hola chicas! I am Dianne Castillo, a freelance professional make-up artist and a member of the Philippine Make-Up Artists Association. As a child, I was always into painting and drawing. My dream was to be a well-known artist with the likes of Rembrandt, Monet or our very own Fernando Amorsolo and I took every opportunity to hone my passion for the arts. However, circumstances led me to a different path when I grew older and that passion momentarily faded into the background.  I guess it was good for me so I could also cultivate my other gifts to enrich my life with valuable experiences that shaped me into who I am today.

Moving forward, the eye for beauty and passion for the arts have always been there all along. At the perfect time, this passion was awakened as I found it in a different yet familiar and even more exciting ground: make-up. With make-up, picking up a brush, choosing and mixing colors comes so naturally to me. What makes it even more fun is being able to work on the face as a canvas and be able to build relationships with the clients up close and personal. Each canvas is one of a kind and the ability to make someone look and feel good about themselves is simply priceless.

 I believe that there is beauty in every woman regardless of her age, size, race, status in life and whatever season in life she is going through. It is just a matter of bringing what is inside out on the surface to be seen and enhancing the beauty that has always been there all along.
